“See if this lands” is such a great phrase.

It’s lets me say something without fully committing. As in, I’m trying this on, and I'll probably update my thinking! I’d like to play it against the ideas of others before I get too attached.

Indeed, these thoughts are not mine. I don’t own them any more than they own me.

To be free to share is a gift. When I feel beholden to something I’ve said — like I can’t change my mind (in your eyes) — I won’t share.

This is my workaround.
